Kenya is a country
much blessed in terms of our natural resources. We have wildlife
and amazing natural beauty. However, poverty and ignorance
still plague our local communities, therby hampering development.
With this in mind, Our organization, the
mount Kenya youth initiative for ecosystem restoration was
formed primarily to spearhead poverty reduction and support
of Millennium, Development Goals (MDG).
We aim at ensuring that the of achieving livelihood
security, alleviation of extreme poverty, gender parity, eradication
of diseases especially malaria and HIV/AIDS, protection of
the environment and sustainable development within the capacity
of available resources and environment constraints are attained.
We have an ambitious plan to collaborate
with educational institutions around Mt Kenya to see these
development goals reach the country's grassroots
